The Wedding Dress I Never Wore
They wanted her to forget. She remembered everything.
Ava Xiang wakes from a car crash with temporary amnesia, a mother in a coma and a wedding one week away. Then her fiance Elliot Shen arrives at her bedside with her half-sister Toni on his arm and informs her, gently, that the wedding is still happening. Just not with her. Her brother calls the crash a stunt she staged to trap a man. And when Ava slips out of her ward that night, she hears her family discuss the accident as a plan that worked out better than expected: keep her in a hospital bed, keep her quiet, and let her sister have the groom. Ava has already remembered everything. Now she has to decide whether to scream, or to smile and let them believe she forgot.
